Bangladesh is known for its vibrant history, ancient archeology, rich culture, and beautiful landscape. Some of the oldest Islamic, Buddhist, and Hindu archeological relics can be found in Bangladesh. The predominant language of Bangladesh is Bangla. The Chakma language is another native of Bangladesh. Other tribal languages include Garo, Meitei, Kokborok, and Rakhine. Bangladesh is located in the north-eastern part of South Asia. The majestic Himalayas stand some distance to the north, while in the south lays the Bay of Bengal. West Bengal borders on the west and in the east lies the hilly and forested regions of Tripura, Mizoram (India), and Myanmar. Bangladesh is home to some of the top medical colleges and offers quality education at an affordable fee.
Nowadays, MBBS from abroad is becoming a trend for students, and if we talk about Indian students particularly then nearly 15,000 students every year go outside India to pursue their MBBS degree in different countries of the world and Bangladesh is one of the most preferable options for them. The reason behind that is the quality education provided by many colleges in Bangladesh at an affordable price. Another important reason is that the culture, food, and weather are almost similar to India, and the students who belong to West Bengal, India do not even face the language barrier as the local language of Bangladesh and West Bengal is the same that is Bangla and another important reason is same syllabus pattern which attracts the Indian students most because it helps them to prepare for FMGE more easily along with their degree & this is the reason why FMGE passing rate is very high in Bangladesh. All these reasons make Bangladesh an ideal destination for Indian students.
